Toni Hedditch is a second-generation fisher, runing the day to day family business Taroona Darwin & Mackeral online, since 2020. Toni is passionately dedicated to promoting local wild caught NT seafood, as well as working outside her day job to take care of the industry in Darwin and help ensure its future. Toni has  been recognised as NT seafood industry awards young achiever and a semi finalist for 2 candagories at the NT Young Achiever Awards this year. Toni has shown commitment and leadership to the seafood industry and her community, going above and beyond her work. She has been a Trusted Advocate for the Stay Afloat program in Darwin since 2021, is an active member of Women in Seafood Australasia, the Sea Safe program, the NT Industry Skills Advisory Council, and has recently been appointed to the FRDC NT Research Advisory Committee. Toni is already a leader in our seafood industry and is continually looking to see where else she can contribute.
